An amazing place. eating is good, but the best was the mood and the workers. they were really nice and with a good service. we went a group of friends on a Friday night when they had karaoke at night, and it was them. best night in madeira. so a beautiful place. we ate many others there. it was a cool mood and really enjoyable. the straks were particularly good. eating was also within a reasonable price, not too expensive.

Went here during our holiday, we wanted to try local cuisine. It was very good and delicious! Prices are okay and the portions are huge! Staf is kind

We picked this restaurant from the good reviews on trip advisor and the reviews were spot on. I had the Scabbard and banana and my partner had the traditional beef skewer, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the portions were plenty big enough. Our meals came with complimentary olives and a passion fruit liquor.

This was the first restaurant we found after our arrival in Machico. It was straight forward with no frills food. Ok for hungry travellers. we only visited it the once.

Visited here on recommends from TA and they don't disappoint. Great food and huge portions (a little too much!) But really yummy. Ate here twice and had the chicken with salad and chips which was very tasty as was the house wine and my second visit I tried the garlic bread which was yum but way too much for 1 person but I tried! Then had the espetada- wow! Beautiful. Really well seasoned and tasty. And of course huge portion I couldn't finish! Had a small bottle of wine which the waitress recommended which was very good too- a really great meal! Well priced for 2 courses with wine and I had a Madeira wine too as I hadn't tried it yet (think was about €20) and I got a complimentary passion fruit liqueur maybe? Didn't catch the name but was lovely.
