A little oasis of well spiced south Asian curries behind this unassuming shop front in small town Scotland, in the Esk river valley just across the border with England. The curries were well flavoured and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. The proprietor was graceful and welcoming, and even gave us poppadums and pickles on the house. Would happily eat here again. They also do take aways and western snack food but if you are from out of town, you go here for the delicious indian food.
Yesterday had a nice lunch in the tin roof with the family. the lens soup we all had was delicious. our various packings and ciabattas were also excellent. those who had brot with their suppe received a generous aid of butter, a rarity in most edibles. our waitress had a beautiful art and could not do enough for our young grandson. a good outing!
Burgers very tasty. beautiful gift shop attached. pleasant staff. highly recommended.
Waited two years for the jack daniel chicken wings, but it was worth that the wait loved them with Cajun chips. image of selected clean chicken wings.
