Both were delicious and we'll presented on wooden boards.Fries came in a little basket.Daughter had a salted caramel sjake with a white chocolate disc covered in 100's and 1000's.Nice place for a quick meal plus coffee was good and staff friendly. Food came fast and was hot. Can have a bit of a queue at lunchtime but moves fairly quickly.Definitely recommend.
Love this place for a quick sweet treat and a coffee, you know to take a break from all the shopping :P The staff is friendly, and the decor is fun, and it's the perfect place to unwind after walking through the endless racks at HnM.
A little unclear how to secure seating, with no one around to seat us we found our own seats and waited and waited to receive menus. When we eventually asked for a menu we were told that we should have been seated by a staff member....... After this confusion food and drinks were served efficiently by friendly wait staff. Good range of tasty lunch options and drinks. One thing we did find very odd was the disclaimer at the bottom of the menu warning people not to eat the chocolate drizzled down the sides of the cold drinks served..... Why do it in the first place?? It's chocolate for heaven's sake, people are going to want to eat it!!!
Went there on a Sunday morning for a quick bite before shopping. We took a seat for table service but after waiting for about 10 mins and getting no service, I decided to head up to the counter to place our order. When I got to the front of the line, the guy behind the counter ask me if I was dong take away or having here. I told him we were seated so he sent me away and said someone will take my order. We waited and tried to hail down several staff who zoomed past us without so much as a glance. After another 5 mins we gave up and left. A complete waste of time.
I have gone too Sydney three times in the last year from Dublin,Ireland and both times made it my business to go to the Missing Piece, despite it being about an hour away from where I stay on the northern beaches. The first time we ever saw it, we were drawn to it because of the insanely large queue. The steak sandwich, lamb sliders, bacon and egg roll, polenta chips and hot chips, and curly kale... list goes on! It is such a good spot. There milkshakes look out of this world. Located very centrally in the mall beside Uniqlo, the staff are always so friendly and attentive. Coffees are always good, and the place is so open plan so you can see everything behind the scenes. Also great for kids! Please visit if you are in Sydney, worth the trip!! Please open more throughout Sydney!!
