I have a special place in my heart for authentic local restaurants that serve up delicious breakfast and lunch with a side of friendly service, where you're treated like a friend. This restaurant is one of those hidden gems. It has been around for a long time, but has new owners who took over in 2017. The exterior is unassuming, but the interior is clean and straightforward. They offer a variety of egg dishes and breakfast meats. I overheard a customer requesting extra crispy bacon, and the charming server assured them that it would be cooked just right. I ordered the classic Cafe eggs scrambled with goetta, hash browns, and toast. It was delivered quickly, piping hot, and perfectly cooked. We could use more places like this as a break from the generic chain restaurants.

Excellent food in a humble location. The dishes were freshly prepared, hot, and delicious, with generous portions. The coffee was just right! Katie was friendly and went above and beyond, even making a special trip to get chocolate milk for my husband. That's top-notch service! Don't miss out on a visit to this charming restaurant for breakfast or lunch. You won't be let down!

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Madeira Cafe! The hashbrowns and pancakes were excellent, and the service was top-notch. The quick pace and high turnover indicate that this is a favorite spot in the neighborhood. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4.

Quality of food was low. Neither the Biscuits and Gravy was homemade. Both were probably purchased at GFS. Breakfast sandwich was underwhelming also. Especially for the price.
