Longuinhos - Madgaon India

Been coming here for the last 20 years! A must visit. Cashew feni, beef croquets, prawn rissois, sausages pulav, need i say more. Oh Yeah, iconic restaurant.

Old vintage feels in this actually old restaurant. Enjoyed the place, the food and the very helpful staff. Had the only very best caramel custard of my life! It lives in my dreams now. No eggy taste or smell and just enough bitter caramel! I will go back just for that again. Also tried there beef and Goan choriz fry with Poe and peas pulao. Oh and also the mussels curry. Everything was yum!

A lovely restaurant in Margao. I've been here about 12 years ago and felt very nostalgic. The food was amazing, the beer was cheap. There's a 10% extra charge if you require air-conditioning, which can be worth it given how hot it gets in Goa. The toilets could have been a little more cleaner especially if you've come there after a long bus ride like I did. But despite all that, I would definitely recommend to try this place and I would go there again if I happen to visit Goa.

Longuinhos is a 73 year establishment serving excellent Goan food. I've been visiting this place for the last 45 years and almost nothing has changed during this time. The place is the same, the food is the same and some of the staff is probably the same. They proudly serve Goan food (pork, beef, etc. which is now mostly frowned upon in upscale restaurants as Indians generally don't eat pork or beef. But I am not complaining! 45 years ago, this was the top destination for fine dining. It is right across the Civil Registrar office. When families would come to register their marriages, a celebratory lunch at Luonguinhos was a given (a splurge for sure, but worth every rupee Over the years, I must have tried all their dishes. Highly recommended if you want authentic Goan food.

Burgermeister Burger from Longuinhos! I won a giveaway organised by them that involved naming their newest burger! This beautiful burger was full of flavour, moist and perfectly cooked chicken patty, tangy sauces and soft bread! The fries were crispy and yum, just like I like them, and to accompany it all was the coke! Also, they gave a tangy mayo Sauce to serve with the fries, and it was very very good! I loved every bit of enjoying this gorgeous meal! Would Highly recommend everyone to try out their newest burger!
