I decided to check out this restaurant based on the recommendation of my wife's uncle, whose taste in food I highly respect. And I have to say, I was not disappointed at all. Despite its basic ambiance, this place turned out to be a hidden gem. During my visit in January, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were no tourists, only locals enjoying their meals. Following the waiter's suggestion, I ordered the Chanak (a local Goan fish) rama fry, prawns rava fry, and tisrya (clams) rava masala fry, accompanied by a refreshing beer. The dishes were absolutely delicious and truly showcased the authentic flavors of Goan cuisine. The food was perfectly fried, not greasy, and a delightful departure from the typical Goan dishes like vindaloo and sorpotel. Overall, I was impressed by the great taste and excellent value for money. Thumbs up from me!
If you're craving delicious Goan cuisine, don't overlook this spot. Try the fish thali, fish fry, and pair it with a refreshing beer or whisky. They have indoor seating with air conditioning, but it can get crowded in the afternoon. Closed on Mondays.
