The ambiance is pleasant with Goan items on display and Mario Miranda prints on the walls. The menu also includes non-Goan food options. I suggest trying the vindaloo and their special mocktail. The only drawback is that they do not currently serve alcoholic beverages, but they are in the process of obtaining their license.
Located on the busy Davorlim road, this restaurant has two levels. The ground level is spacious and airy, resembling a typical Goan home balcao. Upstairs, there is a cozy air-conditioned section. The well-done interiors create a welcoming ambience. The extensive menu offers authentic Goan chicken and seafood dishes, as well as Indian and Chinese cuisine. However, the restaurant does not serve hard drinks, pork, or beef dishes, but non-alcoholic ginger beer is available. The staff is courteous, though orders may take some time as dishes are prepared fresh. Ample parking space is available outside. Overall, this is a great place to dine with family or friends. Don't miss their signature thali along with the authentic Goan cuisine.
If you ever find yourself in Goa and craving authentic Goan cuisine, including chicken and seafood prepared in the traditional Goan style, make your way to Mitasha's in Davorlim, South Goa. This cozy and peaceful restaurant may not be bustling with crowds yet, possibly because it's a new establishment, but the food is top-notch. I personally frequent this spot often, but really, you don't need a special reason to visit – if you appreciate delicious, nearly home-cooked meals, this is the place to be. While they currently do not serve alcohol (though they plan to in the future), focus on the incredible food selections that you won't find on the menus of many other well-known Goan restaurants and hotels that boast about their authentic Goan dishes. The Mario Miranda-inspired cutlery adds a unique touch, and once you try Mitasha's, you'll be hooked. Give it a try simply because it's something new and you'll likely find yourself wanting to return. Don't miss out on their breakfast offerings, available from 7:00am to 11:00pm daily without any breaks – stop by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for a satisfying meal.
