This place is a gem. The best french fries in Gauteng. Food is fresh and delicious. Milkshakes are yummy. Take time to walk around and read all the quotes against the walls, doors and in the garden. Lovely small nursery with great prices. If you're looking for something different and interesting that the whole family will enjoy, this is the place. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! It is definitely worth the drive, I would even drive from Pretoria just to come and sit at this historic location. The bartender is amazing and the atmosphere is exceptional. You always meet interesting new people here, making it a true hidden treasure. Do yourself a favor and take a trip down memory lane, you will not be disappointed - it's impossible not to enjoy it.

Vintage! Rustic! Beautiful, ticked away in idyllic and picturesque setting

We stopped for brunch and were clearly not the only people to do so. Very cool venue in the old railway station. Food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Situated alongside an abandoned railway, a cluster of shops can be found including a restaurant, café, small pub, and a new nursery. Beestekraal is located just a few kilometers outside of Brits and is a highlight along the R511 route. It's an ideal spot for a biker's outing or a convenient stop along your journey. While prices may be slightly higher, the inviting atmosphere more than compensates for it.
