We waited forever on the food. I received my steak w/o a steak knife. Two side salads were missing, etc.

They “didn’t have” the reservation I made for my daughter’s homecoming group of 15 people when they arrived tonight. Upsetting because I received an email this week confirming it, and I also called on Thursday to confirm again because I didn’t want them to run into this! When I called the restaurant to see what the problem was, the manager said I must have made the reservation at a different location—no I didn’t! She wasn’t listening to me and offered no apology for the confusion. At least the kids were able to be seated. Not sure if it’s the restaurant or Open Table that had the problem, but unnecessary frustration.

The entrees were mostly traditional Italian and well done. Mine was the lobster ravioli special in a limoncello sauce and it was exceptionally good. The other entrees in our party were good but not exceptional. Great service. I would go back if I was in the area.

Overall our experience was meh. First, our reservations were confirmed by Open Table, but the restaurant said they didn’t have it. Luckily, they could seat us without any problem. The server was very nice but didn’t know the details of the special (a Friday night fish fry) and ordering got a bit confusing for some reason. After she took our orders, she came back to us with the details about the special. We appreciated that. Some of us enjoyed our food (lasagna, lake perch, spaghetti with meatballs, and zucchini pasta were ok or good), others were disappointed (margarita pizza without any sauce or oil on the crust, but just crust, tomato and cheese). When the various servers came to the table with our food, we had to tell each server who was having what. So, all in all it was ok, nothing special. Could be much better.

We had a large group of people and it was handled very well.
