Yesterday after the Badger game we walked the Laurel to get dinner. The prime rib was excellent as always but I ordered the steak sandwich medium rare with fried onions. The first bite was good and then the rest was all gristle. I couldn't even bite into it. Instead of the waiter asking me if he could get me something else he just told me I should have ordered it medium. Very disappointed.
You can’t go wrong here the prices are incredibly reasonable, there’s a lot of drink options, the food is fantastic, and it has a very classic Wisconsin bar feel. It’s absolutely a neighborhood staple. I personally love their brewmaster burger, rueben, chili, and walleye fish fry. It’s also located next to an ice cream shop, which makes for a perfect family night with dinner and dessert. Highly highly recommend.
Great food. Great service. Friendly, neighborhood atmosphere.
Good food, good staff, great experience. Had a BBQ pork sandwich that was special today. All I tried was delicious.
