Ohio Tavern - Madison

I haven't had the opportunity to dine here yet, but this is a great spot to grab a drink! They also host events on certain nights, like karaoke!

We live in melrose, wi (la crosse area.) we were down in madison for the midwest pferdemesse. after the rodeo, we were told they had tacos. the briskettacos. I swear, it's one of the best briskets I had and they were real tacos. not the strange ones of others. both bartenders were amazing. Drinking was good. in any case be back when we come back to madison.

Amazing tacos and the staff are amazing. During COVID they started taking in call in orders and accepted cards. Now that COVID is on the decline they don’t take call in orders or cards. Tsk tsk tsk.

Great place, great service, and I totally recommend you try the Belmont tacos. They are delicious ?.

I recently visited a restaurant and had a frustrating experience. I ordered a few drinks at the bar and paid with a $20 bill, leaving a $3 tip. However, when the bartender returned to tell me the total, I mentioned that I had already paid. Despite this, the service was slow and I struggled to get the attention of the staff for another drink. When I tried to pay with a credit card, I was told only cash was accepted. Eventually, I paid with cash but later realized I didn't get my driver's license back. After some confusion, a bartender informed me that I needed to pay $18 for the oysters I had already paid for. It seems there was a mix-up with the payments and I ended up being charged twice for the oysters. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and I left feeling disappointed.
