This is busy locals bar with lots of young folks in the neighborhood meeting to catch up. The food menu provides a good spread (I had the Thai salad and calamari--both excellent), and the food is reasonably priced. If you are visiting Madrid, I would consider this place as an opportunity to melt into the suburb crowd away from all of the tourists. Not all of the staff speak English but English menus are available (take a risk and order in Spanish, you can't go wrong on the food).
Situated along the side street along with several other small restaurants, bAravaca is a nice contemporary café and restaurant. It's open for lunch and for dinner, and serves a variety of foods with an international flair. Service is friendly, and rapid even during busy times. You can choose to sit indoors, on a covered patio, or outdoors depending on the weather. My only complaint is that I believe the restaurant to be slightly overpriced. Coffee and entrée and a dessert was more than €30. Nevertheless, I'll probably go back at the right occasion.
The truth is the very rich food. but they arrive at 00.30, they bring you the account without asking for it, and by the way in the schedule is open until 2pm.
I went to a concert during the meal. the very kind staff, attended the tables without sneezing. the food is very good, and the only one but the rations we took were a little pelin.
