If you are staying at the Airport Hilton in Madrid and feeling hungry, this little place is a gem. Come out of the hotel and turn right. Walk 50 meters and turn right again. Go between the buildings keeping the multi story car park on your left. (The street looks as if you are going through a parking lot. At the very next street T junction turn right again and you will see El Museo down on the left. It has outside dining as well as inside although the inside is a little austere and a menu all in Spanish (causing a little bother but this being overcome with Google translate and laughter. We ordered a “small” hamburger, (in house made patty with fries Calamari tapas, Bolognese with meat sauce, a beer and a glass of white wine. All being delicious. The polite and vibrant young woman server our order would be enough for us, and it certainly was. A further pleasant surprise was when the bill came; I had to confirm she had not missed anything from our order, it was much less than I expected. Go check it out if you want a very good meal for very little expense.

While staying at the Hilton Airport-Madrid, we wanted a quick meal, so based on Trip Advisor, El Museo was close by and had good reviews. The food was simple, but very good! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially for us non Spanish speaking visitors. It’s a very nice local restaurant, with very good food!! Its located on the street behind the Airport Hilton. I’d recommend it!
