Contribuisci feedbackAfter residing in Singapore for two years, returning to Madrid, Spain, provided a welcome change. Following a week of indulging in Spanish cuisine, my anticipation for relishing the authentic Cantonese offerings at Hong Kong Kitchen was met with some disappointment due to a noticeable decline in standards. While the roasted pork belly, duck, ribs, and char sui pork maintained an acceptable quality, the absence of chicken feet and the peculiar texture and flavoring of the steamed rice rolls were significant letdowns. Inquiring about potential changes in management, the waitress from the Philippines conveyed that the current owner is Singaporean. Notably, the menu indicated garlic Kailan vegetable, but garlic Choy sin was served. What happened to freshly made dumplings? Emphasizing the utmost importance of authenticity and quality without compromise. It has assimilated into the typical cheap Chinese restaurant experience in Madrid. Opting for Tao Restaurant would have been more justified given the amount paid.
I was with my friends at McDonald after a lesson at the university, they wanted to go there even if I don't eat at McDonald's because I don't like it. I didn't want to annoy them so I accepted and ordered a salad, it was a kinda sad dish. I don't think the price is fair for the quality you get. The ice cream is not bad though.
Great tasting and fresh food. Place is always crowded. Make reservations ahead of time. Staff is warm and friendly and Hola they speak English too.
