La Barra Del Caciquito - Madrid

This is my 3rd time going here for dinner the food and the portions are always good. The staff not as friendly which takes away from the dining experience specially if you are alone. The tall guy from Africa is always very friendly and service oriented.

The meat is outstanding. Salads great as well. The outdoor seating is great. The pizza a great starter

La Barra is part of a small group of local restaurants run by the amiable and efficient Javier Feldmann. La Barra is buried in the large suburb of Chamartin, not far from Plaza de Castilla, and provides a contemporary atmosphere and menu in its long and narrow ground floor restaurant, with large windows making it light and airy. We were a lunch party of more than 20 and they had little problem sorting out a group menu and delivering food around the table so that we were each served at the same time. A good option for lunches large or small, though the overflow seating area in the basement is probably best avoided if you want to be part of the action upstairs, where a busy staff and kitchen make for the best atmosphere.

Un menú a buen precio para lo ofrecido, en el que eliges un entrante, en cantidad suficiente para compartir, y un principal. Escogimos croquetas y ensaladilla de primero, buenas, y ceviche de lubina de segundo, mejor que los entrantes. El sitio es estrecho pero no ruidoso y los camareros eficientes.

Me ha encantado. Estupenda relación calidad-precio.
