La Gamella - Madrid

I wish I had been here with my husband instead of my kids.

We came to this restaurant the last night of our stay in Madrid, just a block away from the hotel we were staying.

Wonderful food and service We got personal attention from the owner, Theresa, as we went for a late lunch on our first day in Madrid.

Right place and nice without more. the service must recognize that attentive and professional. the very expensive food for what they offer. We were four diners and paid 143 euros for the following: some incoming artichokes for the room (a headquake), two burgers, a cod, some chicken tacos, some drinks (water and soft drinks, no wines) and three desserts that were basically ice cream. a price really exaggerated for the offer. food was not bad, but not for that price. It's not worth repeating.

Excellent as always. offer a menu for 29.5 euros (no drink) that allows you to choose first, second and dessert, freely. now also has a terrace
