Bar que sirven menú a 10,95€ y está bastante bien, teniendo en cuenta el. Precio y que estás al lado de Gran Via. El servicio genial.

Very good daily menu for euros. the day of the excellent Madrid cuisine. I ate three noodles. the very attentive waiter. And beer is a good straw.

Madrid is full of places like La Prensa unpretentious, modest and good value. I had breakfast here once and enjoyed a selection of tapas and raciones for lunch on another. Make sure you try boquerones en vinagre (anchovies… yum! , croquets and some tortilla espanõla. This is not exactly a place to have a romantic night out (noisy slot machine inside0 but its obviously popular with locals as well as with tourists (Spanish out of town folks and foreigners0 staying at the dozens of hostales nearby.

Very nice and friendly service. Mojitos were also gorgeous and very tasty! Place is affordable and has a cool slot machine inside.

La Prensa provided my first experience of tapas in Madrid and it was a hard act to follow! Order a large portion of patatas bravas (great for sharing) and you get a free beer. Also the tortilla was a huge slice at just €2.50. My lady tried the fish croquettes and declared them very tasty too. Obviously not the most elegant environment (the fruit machine in constant use next to our table was slightly irritating) but the presence of the large number of locals eating and drinking here is always a good sign. Service was pretty quick and the fact that two of you can eat and drink your fill for perhaps €18 is amazing value. Definitely worth hunting out this little gem in a side road off the Gran Via.
