Taiko Sushi - Madrid

Beautiful food. It's late but really appreciate their service and good food. Will try to make it there earlier next time

In Montecarmelo, a fairly new residential neighborhood, you might not expect a perfectly acceptable Japanese restaurant among the tapas bars, paella restaurants and comida menú a mediodía spots. Taiko is fairly small but clean, well-lit and welcoming. The service is professional. The sushi chefs obviously know what they are doing and everything is prepared to order. Evidence: our unagui roll took a bit of extra time because the ingredients have to be prepared separately and the unagui heated before rolling. Altogether a good choice. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for here.

We were in the neighborhood for a meeting and my friend and I wanted to have Japanese food. I had a look on Tripadvisor and found this place. What a surprise! I absolutely didn't expect such a good place in such a lousy area: an pretty fancy Japanese restaurant, with good service, good food and affordable prices. We had the 25€ menu which was more than enough food and everything was very good. We did not have to wait long and really enjoyed our meal. If I ever come back close to that place I will definitely go back.

Excelente Comida japonesa en un ambiente elegante y fino a precios muy alegres.

Es un lugar muy bien situado en montecarmelo, con una decoración muy moderna y nada recargado. la atención de los camareros es muy buena. Están esperando que todo sea una gota del comensal. el menú del día es muy bueno, la comida más deliciosa, y la salsa taiko combina super bien con el salmón. Los sabores alimenticios japoneses son super exitosos y a un precio muy bueno teniendo en cuenta la cantidad-precio de calidad. ciertamente muy recomendable y repetir varias veces.
