Salween River - Mae Hong Son

I don't understand why this restaurant has high ratings. We waited for about 1.5 hours for our food, including the salad, and when it finally arrived, it was very underwhelming. The potato cake and spring rolls were dripping with oil, and my dish, which was supposed to be flavorful with cashew nuts and steamed rice, had a strange oily sauce that was overpowering. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to others.

This restaurant located in a supermarket in Thailand offers a diverse menu of Western, Thai, and Shan cuisine. We enjoyed the Pad Thai, Khao Soi, and Shan potato cake, all of which were delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is situated next to a picturesque lake, making it a charming spot for a night out.

We ordered the vegetable curry and potato cake, but we were disappointed with both dishes. The curry lacked the traditional curry flavor and was excessively oily, while the potato cake was essentially just potatoes coated in breadcrumbs with an overly sweet sauce.

A more upscale restaurant for Thailand with a mixed menu from west, thai and shan. we have the pad thai and khao soi as well as the shan potato cake. it was all very delicious and beautifully presented. the restaurant is located right next to the lake also what is a nice place to visit at night.
