Good restaurant where you can eat some classics of Swiss gastronomy. It's worth the trip.
Summary: cozy outing place in the middle of hiking trails with beautiful sitting places outside and rustic guestroom.I would recommend the restaurant to friends:YesWe were with a larger family group in the hohmatt. Since the weather was rather crowded, we had a table in the gaststube.I find the terrace in sunny weather personally.The food is therefore more dedicating than light.Very good cheese fondue, the rösti somewhat greasy and little spicy, very good meat (a.a. roast beef) and also otherwise qualitatiw thoroughly good to very good. the portions were large, but not unusual.For example, there was a selection of homemade cake and the famous meringue of the conditorei stone from bumbach (also known as kemmeriboden bad Meringue). It would also be worth mentioning that the service was friendly and accommodating and also reads from walking or crawling small children to the next tables not from the rest.We are sure to come back in case of occasion.
After a small fuss march (about 40 minutes) to the mountain economy hohmatt at magglingen, the lunch was more than deserved. very nice attentive service. large salat bowl, hearty chickenwings with frittes. what you want more to a simple lunch. all in all a wonderful day at a beautiful place high above Lake Bieler
If you have been visiting in magglingen since then this restaurant. the service is very friendly and the service also.
