My wife and I have been to Odyssey several times. The service is always good, sometimes better than good. The food that we have had there has always been excellent - the steaks are superb. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there on various occassions, and have always left satisfied - and full of good eats.Most recently we had lunch - steak sandwiches. The steak is locally sourced from a well knownbutcher who sells quality meat (I have purchased from that butcher myself!), on the odd occassion there is an issue, (no place is perfect), they have an immediate replacement policy. The owner/manager actually works the floor along with the wait staff - and is a very pleasant person.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at this restaurant. The ****** Mary's were fantastic! We ordered two lamb gyro dishes, each slightly different. One was served on open toastie with chips and salad, while the other was a souvlaki with chips and salad. Both dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It's a shame we didn't find this place sooner, as the whole menu looked amazing. We would have loved to try some other dishes. Next time we are in Townsville, we will definitely be returning.

A pretty poor experience all round. Ordered at the counter and with a beer and glass of Pinot, also asked for a glass of ice “What do you want that for” ? Was the response. I was a bit amazed, but before I could reply was told “we provide water but not ice. Definitely not”! The meals where absolutely underwhelming. I ordered a bowl of Fat Fries” which I’m sure arrived in store with a “mrs McCain, or similar wrapper on them, and seemed to be done in an air fryer (like cardboard) while my wife’s lamb cutlets were pretty tasteless. Not to be recommended.
