Hello, overall, we were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Firstly, our reservation was not handled well by the staff. We were only informed one hour beforehand that they would find us a table. When we arrived, we were seated at a table we did not find attractive, but there was no one else at the restaurant so we stayed at our original table. The wine we wanted was not available, and the substitute suggested to us was not as good. It took over 30 minutes for our order to be taken, even though we were ready and hungry. The restaurant was not clean and seemed understaffed. The food was average, with cold fries but well-prepared meat. The dessert was nothing special, resembling a store-bought cake. The terrace was covered with noisy construction plastic, making it uninviting. Despite being recommended to try this new restaurant, we would not suggest that others go there. It's a disappointment, and it's a shame that it didn't meet our expectations.
This is our second visit to this bistro. The first time was for breakfast and we enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner with friends. Let's start with the wine list, which has excellent options and is only $5 more expensive than our government-regulated liquor stores. As for the food, we all opted for the table d'hote, which starts at $20 and includes dessert. Everyone at the table loved their meal. The service was great, with a server who was attentive and available when needed. Overall, we think we have found our new favorite restaurant, as other options in the area are beginning to feel old.
