Blu At The Lakehouse - Mahopac

I was asked to make a reservation on a day when the restaurant was closed. I appreciate the lack of communication, whether through email or phone call.

Ren is fantastic at the bar—super friendly and makes excellent drinks. Rob always goes above and beyond to make us happy, serving us quickly and ensuring we're comfortable, and he's always ready with a great wine suggestion! We also love Victor and the rest of the family there.

The food was excellent. We started with oysters and shrimp cocktail, then enjoyed the frutti di mare and branzino. Everything was wonderful, and the outdoor atmosphere was very delightful.

We wanted outdoor dining for our anniversary brunch hoping for the same feeling as on our wedding day. Blu was a great choice.

Brought our out of town guests for brunch to enjoy the fall foliage on the the lake. It was wonderful as always. Food does not disappoint.
