Afternoon Tea Spice Merchant Cookham

Four of us enjoyed Indian afternoon tea at The Spice Merchant, and it was fantastic. We began with a selection of loose-leaf tea before the food arrived. The presentation of the food was exquisite, featuring a delightful array of Indian finger foods. The restaurant accommodated a vegetarian option without any issues. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was prompt. I highly recommend this place!

The desserts were nice, though a bit too sweet for my taste. However, I would still recommend this place!

We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the menu was thoroughly explained to us. There were plenty of tea options to choose from. We enjoyed a delightful mix of savory and sweet treats, all beautifully presented, and the staff was attentive throughout our visit. I’ll definitely return!

The food here is truly fantastic, and it's a delightful twist on the traditional afternoon tea! As vegetarians, we were pleased to find a variety of delicious options available. The atmosphere was charming, and the service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this place! My only suggestion is that, as it's an Indian afternoon tea, I was a bit disappointed there wasn't authentic masala chai served. I hope that during our next visit, we can enjoy properly brewed desi masala chai—it would make the experience absolutely perfect!

I had a really wonderful afternoon tea experience! The dessert of the day was exceptional, and there were great vegetarian options available. The only downside was the scones, which were store-bought and served cold, and the jam wasn't Bonne Maman as advertised. However, the savory Indian dishes were fantastic, as was everything else on the menu. I definitely plan to book again!
