Baskerville's Coffee House - Maidstone

This cafe is absolutely adorable! They serve the best milkshakes in town. I tried the pancakes and they were incredibly soft and delicious. We also got some food to take away for later. I'm looking forward to returning for afternoon tea and a reasonably priced bottle of Prosecco!

I visited this restaurant for afternoon tea and was left feeling disappointed. The quality of the selection was lacking, and it seemed like nothing was made in-house except for the sandwiches. There were only four small finger sandwiches per person, which was underwhelming considering the price. After looking at previous reviews, it seems like we didn't get the same experience as others. We saw homemade flapjacks and sausage rolls on Google, but there was nothing like that on our plate. While the doggy afternoon tea looked good, it seemed like others had a wider selection. The decor was outdated and in need of a refresh. We came with high expectations, but unfortunately, we left feeling let down. There is potential for improvement at this cafe, but it fell short for us.

We all had a lovely afternoon tea at Baskervilles Coffee House. The traditional tea had a good selection of savoury and sweet treats. The child's tea also had a good selection, having changed the sandwich fillings to known favourites. Our dog certainly enjoyed her afternoon tea too and it was great to be able to give her something designed for her instead of snuffling our sausage rolls. The staff were really happy, polite and chatty. This is a wonderful little coffee shop and a great place to visit if you want to sit with your dog.

Such a lovely Coffee house. We couldn't fault the service at all and the best part is that they're dog friendly! Unfortunately their food delivery didn't arrive so they didn't have much in stock this obviously is no fault to them) so we settled for some Iced tea, Coffee and one of their scrumptious cupcakes . We didn't get to try out the Pecan Bannana pancakes that everyone is raving about but I must say they were the best cupcakes we've ever tasted! I highly recommend this place to enjoy a morning or afternoon with family or just a catch up with friends.

Lovely vegan breakfast Will certainly be going back again. Friendly staff and a great selection of vegan cakes too! Dog friendly also which always gets bonus points in my opinion! Highly recommend.
