The chicken burger, chips and coleslaw was tasty and satisfying, but the special, a venison haunch steak, wilted spinach, beetroot rösti and red wine jus was a class above: beautifully prepared and served. If someone said take me to a proper English Pub I would take them here! Lovely old pub atmosphere with dried hops hanging from the ceiling and a log fire.
