The atmosphere was beautiful, with well-furnished seating that was spacious and spread out over several areas. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable when asked about dairy-free options. I would love to come back for lunch or dinner to see how it is later in the day.
I believe this chain of restaurants is my favorite. I have dined at many of their locations in Britain and have never had a bad experience. The food is delicious, served by well-trained staff in a friendly manner. There are many options available and the daily specials are always good. It is one of the few places where I enjoy steak tarts. Both the appetizers and main courses are excellent. I ordered cod and chips, but they had run out of cod so I tried sea bass with mash instead. It was very tasty, with a side of crispy chips and creamy spinach. The steak tartare appetizer was also very good, as was the beef bourguignon main course. It was cooked to perfection and had a great taste. I highly recommend trying it.
When you come across a chain restaurant that has stood the test of time, there is a good reason for it. At Cote Brasserie Maidstone, they achieve culinary excellence without reaching Michelin star levels. All restaurants can take notes from Cote Brasserie on how to provide, present, and prepare exceptional dishes.
I decided to book a table and see how cote was, which was very easy to do online and was very quickly confirmed. we were very quickly shown to our table my wife and I ordered some olives and kekse and a ricard and also a gin mixer as an appetizer that was particularly beautiful but was not given time to finish and enjoy them when the main meal arrived about a minute later, which gave us no time to finish the starter that was very disappointing. the cookies never arrived. in consequence my main meal became beef bourguignogn cold and my Sancere white wine could not get drunk because my ricard was still incomplete, which by the way did not bend well with my main meal, which was also the same experience for my wife. we did not make any comments at the time. I have to say, although eating was really beautiful and beautiful presented, the pig bell my wife chose. the deserts were also very nice. the lady who served us was also very pleasant and very attentive and I could not blame the rest of the service. for future reference try to eat their customers their starters and check before serving the main meal, and not all at the same time I would again like to eat really delicious.
Waiters genuinely care about your experience, food is darn tasty and prices are not exorbitant. House wines are delicious as is the French cider on offer. Can't wait to go back again and dive in to the French onion soup.
