Very welcoming and friendly. Great service, lovely food. Try their scotch egg starter, it's lovely (if a little expensive at £7.50) rest of the menu is good value.

Lovely meal, although waited too long to order and had to go to the bar to order another drink. But the atmosphere was good, just not enough staff probably.

Evening complete disaster ,battered haddock served to me and my quest smelt gone off!!!! Ordered Scampi ,that was mistake ,it was slimy obviously in oil that was not hot enough ,no hope if kitchen staff r unable to cook Scampi !!!! The meet and greet staff first class .I am unable to recall a worse meal than this, my wife and I were celebrating my son and wife’s wedding anniversary Colin Oram

Lovely food and friendly helpful staff. The liver pate and scotch egg starter were a bit bland but the roast dinner more than made up for it.
