The Romney At Mote House - Maidstone

Nice, friendly helpful staff. Really good menu for Valentine's Day, very comfortable dining room, with comfortable chairs. Only on the bottom there were no places to park outside, so parked off the hotel and it was very dark and not very well illuminated back to the car. Recommend this restaurant.

The place was light and airy with beautiful decor. The tables were laid simply and impeccably clean. Really enjoyed the food that quickly arrived and was delicious.

A very pleasant place with good, well presented food from a varied and interesting menu, nice wine served all by friendly but thoroughly professional staff. Unfortunately, besides the three of us the restaurant was empty, I am sure if there were more customers the atmosphere would be better. Guest parking was also a bit distant, particularly difficult at night with very limited lighting.

We had a nice, chilled afternoon tea with bubbles around a 60. celebrating birthday, we were not rushed or hurried, good food and beautiful interior. Not good that the small parking lot was full, so we had to pay for parking spaces that were not lit when we left in the dark!

A great restaurant with great service and well presented dishes. A well kept secret in the heart of Mote Park !
