We opted for a light lunch, ordering a small portion of tagliatelle, prawns, smoked salmon, and waffles for dessert. The food was excellent and the service was fast. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!
We visited a cozy village pub and had a fantastic meal tonight. We enjoyed fish and chips, steak and ale pudding with chips, all of which were piping hot and delicious. The portions were generous and satisfying. The staff at the bar were very friendly and attentive. Since it is a small, traditional pub, it is recommended to book a table in advance. The bar area was bustling with a lively atmosphere. Additionally, the pub is dog-friendly.
I visited this restaurant over ten years ago and was not impressed. However, I have heard that the pub has since become a fantastic place to dine. My wife and I recently had lunch there and we were pleased that we had made a reservation as it was quite busy. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the menu had a lot of tasty options. The restaurant has everything we were looking for, including parking and a beer garden. We will definitely be returning soon.
This was just a spur of a moment decision. We had been here some time ago and found this pub very welcoming then. To be honest nothing had changed, apart from the fact that was not as crowded as last time which worried us a bid. Of course we were proved wrong! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and reasonably priced with an unusual but nevertheless inspiring choice suiting any taste. This semi-rural pub which has been here for more than 200 years is very much geared to the local community which makes a visit rather special.
Lovely food. Staff friendly and helpful finding out about allergens as I need a gluten free meal. Good choice of gluten free dishes.
