Dorfchronik - Maikammer

With child and cone spontaneously into the village chronicle.We were assigned a nice table. the young lady in the service was alone, could not be brought out of the rest and looked after us well.Lecker pfälzer spargel, abe, saumagen and taste ochsenbäckchen .all excellent.We come back again

On Mondays it is not easy to find an open local with a large kitchen on the wine road. For more intensive search, we finally pushed r onto the village-chronik in maikammer. we didn't care about it.The ambiente was pleasantly inexorable. the service was friendly and professional. the waiting period for freshly prepared meals and the drinks was appropriate. I had to go to the appetizer jakobsmuschel on a potato-bean-cassoulet and mandelfoam. as a main dish duckbrust on Wok-Gemüse and a surprise writer for the desert.The muscheln were cooked on the spot and with the cassoulet an unusual but tasty variant. the duck breast was perfectly fried, which sweet pleasantly seasoned asian. very tasty.The desert plate consisted of a cream crimp, a filled macaron, a piece of mandeltarte and a little bit of ice cream, which tasted after zimt and kardamon. the portions were appropriate.The weeping from their own weingut and were a suitable companion to food.We were positiw surprised and come back.

Our beautiful departure to the pfalz ended in the village chronicle.The wee was delicious, the food expensive and very small, the quality not particularly good (salted).The card was not very extensive, noodle dishes, classic like table lace and there was T-bone steak (the small 88 €!!!)... that was unfortunately in no relation to the location and art of the place.Our portion was as small as one can imagine a appetizer in an upscale restaurant.A cleck of carafe bread in the size of a teaspoon, hardly any supplement...This was therefore lukewarm, the minimalist amount due to. the arrogant wetin prescribed us a short hour incl. Order/Essen/Bezahl!!!From the Palatinate gas efficiency - no trace.The abient quite nice, the facility cozy. the tables covered, table linen etc. - all in a very okay. Something silly we found the colorful water glasses, it looked like a childbirth for the very small. someone had implemented a very strange idea.Very, very bad. maikammer - always happy, but village-chronic - in no case.

Delicious food, very beautifully dressed. rustic or modern. the saumagen was very delicious, also the other dishes. weeping out of your own. the late burgunder was particularly good. we'll be back.

In a challenging and attractive atmosphere we enjoyed the regionally oriented kitchen. the service was courteous and friendly.
