Ten Minutes by Tractor - Main Ridge

We had booked here whilst on winery tour in the region, 7 of us boys. Well what a gem, from the wait staff dressed in suits and an amazing menu including degustation if you prefer. Very accommodating with Vegan options. Stunning food and service was impeccable. Wine list was an encyclopaedia .... sommelier was very informative in making our choice. A definite must visit.

Found this place through trip advisor. Great experience of fine dining in the Mornington peninsula. On arrival we experienced the wine tastingJust inside the restaurant. Great start!Four of us experienced 3 fantastic courses each and they were all superb. Hay smoked mussels, veal sweetbreads, venison, beef, fish dishes, fantastic desserts and great service.This place exceeded my expectations and would recommended it to anyone who loves fine dining.Congratulations to all staff

We did the 8 course degustation and we were not disappointed. Each course was fantastic and was always served just at the right time. And it's not just 8 plates, there's more going on, so just when you think it's over, it's not, which was probably the best part of the night. There's a certain level of wankery going on which may be off putting to some, but they're self aware enough to not be pretentious about it. If it's in season, you can get truffles shaved onto any course, and it didn't show up on the bill which was a nice surprise. We also had to try the truffle mash which was out of control good. Great range of craft beers for those of us that aren't big wine drinkers, and a good selection of spirits too. Skip lunch if you do the 8 course. It's a lot of food.

This is our second visit, and the standard of food and service is excellent. Some mouth watering amuse bouche really show the extent of the skill in the kitchen. We chose the table d'hote - 2 courses for around $80. Overall this is surprisingly good value with generous portions. Not quite Vue de Monde standard but very nearly. More of a 4.5 than a 4!

What can I say other than it was a fantastic experience at Ten Minutes by Tractor.We had the 5 course degustation and it was well worth it. The chosen courses were well matched and each course was delicate in it's flavours. The service was top notch, with the maitre d' being very accommodating and the wait staff were exemplary. There are great views from restaurant which added to the vibe.There is wine tasting on entree, which is free if you're having a meal.Note: if your having the 5 course degustation, leave yourself a good 2+ hours and if having the 8 course, leave yourself 3 hours.
