I recommend arriving early, especially since dogs aren’t allowed inside, but there are a few parking spots under large trees that offer shade for our four-legged friends. It was heartwarming to see a group of friendly dogs enjoying the outing together, as well as the lively gatherings—all of them seemed to be having a wonderful time, especially with the wooden-framed "branded" Instagram frame showcasing the view of the vineyards. Check out my photos! I’ll definitely be returning.
We ordered two pizzas: a delmeso and a funghi. They were tasty, especially paired with a smooth pinot noir. While they may not be the best pizzas I've ever had, they were definitely reliable. The overall ambiance was enjoyable as well. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. This place is a winner!
The Eastermontag was not excessively busy, but the restaurant can and is ready to handle over the normal volume is shameful. ran out of pizza, but not laid open, so we got gluten-free (turned and refunded) cheese plate used tasteless pecorino loop that claimed the personal normal pecorino, and there were at least 20 other unfortunate and complaining customers with which the restaurant decided to become competitive. will not be back and would not recommend anyone.
We were told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table, but ended up waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes! After browsing the cellar door and purchasing some lovely wine to take home, we continued our wait. Eventually, we were assured that a table for two would be ready soon, but it took much longer than expected. Finally, we were seated at a large communal table, greeted by a friendly waiter who apologized for the excessive delay—but the delay was concerning for us as customers. After many diners left, we ordered an antipasto platter and a pizza to share, but waited yet another hour or more for our food. When we inquired about our order, we were told they were understaffed, with only one cook and one worker for the day. While we understand that sometimes things happen, it shouldn't detract from the customer experience; perhaps they should hire more staff or have a backup plan in place. When our antipasto arrived, the bread wasn’t fresh, and the meats and cheeses were bland. To make matters worse, the pizza we wanted to order was sold out, and the alternative we received was also quite tasteless. I’ve rarely walked away from a restaurant experience feeling so disappointed. My partner and I have never written a review for a winery or restaurant before; we usually go with the flow. However, after spending our time at T’Gallant today, we left with a bad memory, and we won’t be returning.
Nice casual place with nice wines, pizzas looked awesome but were slightly disappointing. Biggest qualm was why they couldn't clear the dirty glasses and empty bottles from our table in the 5 hours we were there.
