Depending on where you're seated there might be another group next to you in a long table. Feels like you're hostage to conversations but what can you do when sitting next to strangers basically. I had the Com Tam Thit Nuong Cha. I love that the rice plate comes with a soup. I highly recommend the broken rice dishes. You should also ask for extra sauces or non-spicy sauce once your food gets to your table because it's not likely the servers will return after. The meat is well-seasoned and is charred a bit but not burnt. There's gacha machines in the back for a dollar if you want to try your luck at getting a trinket. Once you're done eating, you can go ahead and pay at the register. Also recommend getting take-out for a meal the day after.
Never come to this shop again, buy a lunch box and bring back a piece of black barbecue to share with blackened broken rice, always have to put a layer of rice, and the seller forgot to put it in the group to open the onion, eat a little more The feeling of heat in the neck, the pot of cabbage soured the table, a big lump stuck to 5.6 tires and couldn't help it
My dad and I ate com tam bi thit nuong here and had a stomach ache all day and the next day. I highly recommend not coming here.
GO TO COM TAM THANH FOR GOOD PRICE BROKEN RICE Com Tam Thanh, a revered gem nestled in a quiet corner of Westminster, has stood the test of time, serving as a cherished Sunday morning tradition for my family for as long as I can remember. The familiar faces of the unchanging staff, who seem to have defied the passage of time, have been a constant presence since my childhood days. Even as I've grown from an 8-year-old to a 24-year-old, the essence of this place has remained unaltered. The flavors, the broth, the essence of the broken rice--it's all a harmonious tribute to tradition, a taste that evokes the nostalgia of every visit over the years. Com Tam Thanh is not just a restaurant; it's a cornerstone of Vietnamese culinary heritage in Orange County, a place where locals share stories and create lasting memories around a table laden with classic, authentic dishes.Though tucked away in a lesser-known corner, its fame among the Vietnamese community in OC is undisputed, a testament to the unwavering quality and legacy that Com Tam Thanh has woven into the fabric of the community. For those in search of an authentic and timeless experience, this is where the heart of Vietnamese cuisine beats in full rhythm.
This is the second time I came over here for some Com Tam. We ordered the Com Tam Pork Chop with Shrimp. The meat was tender. Shrimps were cooked just right. I usually pour their sauce over my rice (try it)..The food hit the spot. Delicious broken rice! Their foods great. A must to try
