Except one time only but I guess it's okay, you can't be perfect all the time ;)The durian taro duo is SO GOOD, but unfortunately they don't have it today. I think it was removed from the menu at some point. Owners, if you are reading this, bring it back!Service is always good but they definitely need more workers. Sometimes I see inly 1 cashier in the front doing pretty much all the work. Send help if you can guys.Today my gf got A5 mango coconut noodle I got the D3 Pomelo mango. We shall see how it goes!
One of my favorite Asian dessert chains especially for mango lovers! This is my first time at this particular Westminster location, and the parking here was easy! It's located in a fairly decent size plaza with various of other restaurants, but not crazy enough since parking wasn't too difficult to find. We came on a random weekday, and it wasn't too busy. Their kiosk was broken that time, so we order with the staff member. We got the Mango Trio so we could try a various of their sweets. I personally found all the treats super good, and wish I had gotten more! I love the taste and the texture! Everything about these desserts didn't disappoint. Side Note: Would recommend the staff goes through more training since many customers attempted to use the kiosk, and the staff member didn't inform them it didn't work unless they ask her directly. I thought it would be more appropriate to have a sign displayed on the kiosk or if the staff informs the customers immediately since usually the customers look confused when the menu wouldn't scroll on the screen. She just stood there looking blankly.
This place is a niche dessert place in Little Saigon. We had to try the Mango because it just looked so friggin ' good on the display window. And honestly, it was! If your palate is into the ingredients of this dessert, I definitely encourage you to try it. It 's located in a seemingly crowded mall strip. I don 't necessarily see a bunch of people around, but the parking lot is relatively full and there are a lot of businesses sharing space. So I can only assume, there are people inside the businesses hopefully patronizing and supporting. It 's definitely a culture vibe and I love it. The service at this place is a little bit, meh . It took a while to be greeted even though we were seen. But you know, it was just a moment in time and maybe that 's not the norm. I would gladly give them the benefit of the doubt and not judge too harshly. Just try their dessert offerings. It 's good.
I stopped by Hui Lau Shan for a post haircut snack with my friend and we got the Mango/Coconut with Aloe Jelly and the signature Mango/Sago with a mango crisp to share. Everything was made so fast and really well done. The mango crisps are so fun to eat, although be warned they are a little bit on the firmer side so if you have sensitive teeth watch out!The casual ambiance provided a laid-back setting for a quick bite and drink. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt, contributing positively to the overall experience. They got board games in the corner if you want to wait for your drink too, although it won't be long! The parking in the plaza is tight, so expect to park a few rows away from the actual place!
My favorites are: Taro Cloud; Durian Sago drink; mango pudding, and black rice porridge with durian. There are about five tables. The space is clean and bright. Service is nice, but if you don't know what you want, they might be impatient. Remember to earn points for free items. They also have a location in Irvine. Parking is hard. They accept credit cards.
