MA:DORO - Mainz

Dominique is an amazing chef who has worked all over the world. His commitment to the authenticity and sourcing of his food is amazing. The game you eat he shot himself and any meat and cured meats you eat he sourced himself. The food is extremely tasty and the wines are local and of the highest quality. I live in LA and eat there in great restaurants but this place can stack up to any of them. If you think you know Germany food you don't. You probably just know a caricature of ancient German food. If you are in the area (and Mainz is just 25 minute train ride from Frankfurt Airport) do yourself a favor and check out this place.

A real jewel in the Mainz Neustadt! convincing concept, great service, beautiful ambience, fair prices. For this very high quality (exclusive regional and seasonal) products, perfectly arranged, everything was incredibly delicious! From vegans to meat lovers, everyone here is probably happy. It is cooked and served with love and passion. And you know that! As far as possible, no wishes remain open. Unlimited recommendation!!
