Zum Goldstein - Mainz

A first evaluation gave me the opportunity to forgive (only) 4 stars that I find in retrospect under reality. I have returned ten times to this place and has never been disappointed, the quality of the ambient, the menu and the professionalism of the service are constant and always at the highest level. in the course of time this place has developed to my reference point nr. 1 in mainz when it comes to good eating in a quiet environment. for all these reasons: 5 stars without hesitation.

We stayed at the Goldstein last night.Previously book! we didn't do it and had extremely happy with the place. felt 20 couples were then comforted due to lack of space.The beer garden in the middle of mainz is a dream. the restaurant itself also very beautiful. the conditions were all very friendly and courteous, also attentive. Even the dog got a water served. :) the menu contains beautiful, finely selected dishes.Small manko .. a few more vegetarian dishes would have made my heart beat even higher. aaaaber. everything that came to us on the table was, on the one hand, very beautifully dressed despite the stress and, on the other hand, absolutely delicious. ! we will definitely come back.

We come very regularly into the gold stone and have never regretted it so far. Apart from the bombastic schnitzel and the fancy limburger, you can recommend everything on the map with a certain amount. the season card always offers surprises and also craftsmanship is the eating absolute top. everything is rounded off with super friendly service, which is always striving and always remains white and friendly even when asking.From our side a clear recommendation!

The beautiful atmosphere under the huge chestnuts of the restaurant garden in the mainzer old town invited us to a lukewarm summer night, after pre-order, to return to this typical mainzer restaurant with defigene specialities. the "matjes Hausfrauen-Art" were excellent, the hot "meenzer fleischwurst" were correct, as was the "worsty limburger with music" - in fact one would have expected more "meenzer handkäs" here. the homemade spundekäs was a little lazy and pampy and drank under a sea of bretzel. the drinks (beer and white wines) were neat, though not just cheap. unfortunately the service was catastrophic. during the first order we had to wait for the drinks 20 minutes and for the pre-nose simple meals 40 minutes. to demand replied the service a little pampy, it would be served table after table. the afterorder of a weinschorle was still not arrived after a good half an hour and not even ordered at the theke, where a compassionate friend asked. Unfortunately, that was not a reassuring move.

I was born in mainz and was the first time in the golden stone. shand over me. great beer garden and cozy interior. the service was incredibly nice and had a super memory. although we were victorious, there was no problem to keep all orders and to give them the right person. simply great. eat very, very tasty and excellent. we all had an unforgettable evening and will definitely come again at sunny weather to sit in the beautiful outdoor area. 100% further recommended. simply top!
