Lavenders Riverside Cafe - Maitland

The eggs were nicely cooked but as for everything else.. bacon was hardly cooked, fritters were soggy , you pay $4 extra for 2 tiny slices of halloumi. Over all, Im not impressed and wont order this again.

Over priced. Got a $19 sandwich and it was a big soggy mess with cheap $1 coles bread. For the price they change it should be consistently good. Not good one day and absolutely abysmal three days later!  for $19 I want a sandwich I can eat not pick up and it but revolting soggy mess I cant eat! Biggest waste of money and disappointed around.

As always the meals were great, it was very busy, but only 30 minutes to get breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lunch at Lavendels was nice, although the day was hot. They were on the needs of all kinds and even had water for the ladies working dogs, and gave me time to read loud for the ladies without pressing the staff not even finish the meal, although we ran them a little past closure and I am amusingly realized that we chat and enjoy so long....would recommend Lavenders Cafe for all abilities!

Friendly staff. Dog-friendly. Nice coffee. Good brunch food. Overtakes the river Hunter. Recommend their Pull-Pork Toastie and Scones.
