The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The service pace was perfect—not too slow or too fast. Overall, I enjoyed great coffee, delicious food, and friendly people. Highly recommend! xx
I took my daughter to Michelle's for morning tea today, and I have to say, it was disappointing. I spent $22.50 on a cup of tea, a banana milkshake, and two cookies. Right when we arrived, I received my tea in a plastic takeaway container, which tasted like old dishwater. My daughter’s milkshake was poorly made, with all the banana syrup settled at the bottom and just foam on top. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she simply said, “Just take it as is.” It would really help if the staff could learn how to make a decent milkshake and serve tea in proper cups. I left feeling very dissatisfied and believe my money would be better spent elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this café to anyone.
After a 45-minute delay of Singleton, we were expected to arrive at 12:30 at 1:20 hungern only to find Michel 's Patisserie the general mood of the place was ruined by a boy playing the Ukulele, someone would have told him he could not sing sound like a cat die while screaming at the strings of a violin. After we wait almost half an hour for our food, a $8 ham and cheese toastia, yes $8, and a $10 bacon and egg roll together with 1 medium-sized flat white and 1 icy mocha. At least we were ready to eat the fake plants on the table. When they arrived, I picked up my ice cream coffee to taste literally dirty, it was the bitterest thing I ever paid 6 or so I expected dollars better and I was thoroughly disappointed. The portion size of my meal would even fill a chihuahua, then I had the absolute joy, the running egg yolk after cutting into the brioche role when I had asked for a hard egg yolk. If you still think that my lunch is going well, my conversation was interrupted by a loud degruntled customer who was just as upset with the annoying prices of the toasties that says "this is better the best damn toastia, I've ever eaten for 8 dollars. I better take a bite and my head will explode because it tastes. ' So all in all that I don't expect to return anytime soon, this bad experience has a terrible taste in my mouth, but that could have been the mocha.
Both the “barista” and the manager must learn their menu. An affogato is NOT a black coffee with a pot of ice in it. And I know you're short staff, but that's not an excuse for the waitress to throw my order on me and storm it before I can say anything at all. I'll never be back.
I have been to this place twice. Both times the food has been soggy. It is like the food is pre-prepared and microwaved when ordered. The first time my partners ' quiche was cold in the middle. We thought maybe it was a bad day for them so we gave them another go. My burger was again soggy and rubbery. I just walked in today, a whole hour before they closed, to buy a takeaway coffee and a smoothie for my partner. To my surprise there is a sign saying that coffee no longer being made, only drinks from fridge available. This is the first CAFE I have ever been to where they stop serving THE MAIN PRODUCT THAT PEOPLE WANT a whole hour before closing. Won 't be going here again
