Contribuisci feedbackA very good dinner my wife's lamb roast was very nice as was my Scotch Fillet. Also very nice desert.
Actually very happy with the service and the meal. Lamb rump was cooked perfectly. The sauce was lovely, vege cooked well and the garlic mash tasty. Presentation was great. Definitely would recommend.
Stayed and ate during a work visit.Main chef was away but modified menu looked good.Beef Stroganoff was nice and a big meal for the price.Herb bread was delicious.Topped of with a nice Aussie craft beer Yenda Hell.Great atmosphere of the past.
Stayed at Monte Pio on three different occasions, the resteraunt food wasnt world class, but were decent sizes and delivered in good time. Buffet breakfast was average and the coffee machine is an absolute pain in the neck. For the next two mornings I actually took a hot drink from my room instead...it tasted better!! In saying that, all hot breakfast dishes are cooked to order and were fantastic. I didnt have long to wait and the scrambled eggs were excellent.
We are very surprised that this restaurant isn't packed every weekend. The oysters are huge and the meals are the same. If I order half a dozen oysters I still struggle to finish a entree sized main meal. The staff are all lovely. We have been a few times and I think our waitress names have been Leanne or Therese (can't quite remember) and Lisa.
