The Shakespeare - Málaga

Friendly pub with a good atmosphere serving an excellent pint. We joined in with the quiz night. The landlord took time to explain the format of the quiz to us, we didn’t win but we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Stumbled on this place by chance and was treated to a great evening of live music by local musicians getting up and performing !

I had read up about this pub in our home town of Liverpool before starting a 10 day holiday on the Costa Del Sol and we were not dissapointed on our visit. I loved the look of this pub ,neat and tidy with a light and airy interior, pine tables and chairs, a cool looking serving bar, beer barrel tables and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling street this pub is found on. We were here on a roasting hot Saturday afternoon, as the pub had just opened for the day we were about the first customers of the day so we could really appreciate what a great looking pub this is, greeted warmly by a very pleasant and smiling member of staff who served us an Estrella Galicia beer each,these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. I really enjoy Estrella Galicia beer, it's a light and hoppy unpretentious beer that is really easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoy, it's a beer that is extremely popular on the Costa Del Sol. These are the type of pubs that bring me back to Malaga year after year. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on for a first time visit we were very impressed with this pub. The Shakespeare is easy to locate on Calle Muro De Puerta Neuvo. A wonderful pub in a wonderful location and if your in the area a pub that's worth checking out.
