This place used to be Marios. And it was better then. The pizza is fine, but there are better choices in Malahide if you’re happy to walk 2 minutes further, particularly if you’re a young family.
This place used to be an old reliable not fancy but if you fancied a quick pizza it was passable and the staff were lovely. Now the place has changed hands and the food has taken a dip in quality and what really annoyed me is that the people preparing the food aren't wearing masks or gloves. They've built a tower of pizza boxes around the counter so you can no longer see the food prep area but if you look around the side you can see what is going on. The last time (and it will be the last time) I picked up food I saw the person preparing it drop some chips onto the counter, pick them up and put them into the box that was brought out to me. We threw the food out and swore never to go back.
I just love this place. It has the best pizza and never lets us down. The staff are really lovely as well.
Worst pepperoni pizza I 've ever seen in my entire life. The 12 inch pizza my kids ordered had 9 pieces of cut up hotdog instead of pepperoni. Both my kids 8 and 4 immediately knew something was off and refused to eat it. My older kid originally thought it had just gone bad. After he picked the pieces of (sneakily put under the cheese to hide it), it was obvious it wasn 't pepperoni. The waiter insisted it was pepperoni and said It 's not hotdog, why do people keep saying it 's hotdog , we 're obviously not the first people to mention it. I asked if I could see a piece of it before it was put on the pizza, he replied I 'll check with the boss , and then never came back. I 've given it one star as the kids enjoyed the pizza once the 9 pieces of sliced hotdog were removed.
