The price though is a bit expensive for a bowl of soto. But, worth it with the taste of the soto. The broth is thick and the spices are perfectly absorbed. A variety of toppings.
Decent price, authentic Lamongan-surabaya's cuisine. Their koya is the best, next to soto lombok'e koya. If you come here early in the morning, you will get a greasy oily soto. But I you came later, you will get the best version of their soto.
Just one thing really javanese soto . I ordered soto ayam komplit and of course teh manis . You don't mind ordering a part of the chicken soto ayam komplit , then put koya powder and mix with rice, yummy. One thing I like about Java tea is the taste of jasmine mixed with fine roast of black tea. Do not ask the waiter to put sugar unless they will add sugar without asking (this is usual in every local restaurant and falcon).
I recommend Soto Istimewa as it has many toppings and Innards. The price is moderate. The parking lot is very limited.
