Weiss Kreuz - Malans

We were often in the white cross in Malans, for dinner, 1. Communion of our sohne and this time for a spontaneous lunch. a wonderfully ally gaszpacho with a crowned fogaccia with crisp vegetables and ibericoschinken, bark fillet cubes with eierschwämmli and homemade tagliatelle, caramellised palatschinken with aprikosencomott and sorbet, the whole is the lunch, with a bottle of whiteburgundy after a very nice and sweet 3 - courses for chf 37.50, an absolutely fair offer for the quality, taste and optics of the food. next time we come back in the evening for the tasting menu, which is spiced with culinary highlights. thanks iris petermann and team for the brilliant experience.

We were at night with overnight in the white cross. the reception was very nice and courteous, check-in uncomplicated. the hotel room very stylish and very simple top. a visit in the wine cellar a must to choose a fine wine to eat. the 7-speed menu a dense, leaves no wish open! the small fumoir to the slumbertrunk (who likes a zigarre) highly recommended. top restaurant!

On the homepage as well as at the hotel entrance it is stated that the kitchen has open until 22.00 clock. to eight we will pass on a Wednesday evening shortly after 21.00 a.m. for a slumber drink. the service absolutely unfriendly! we feel that we are no longer welcome here at a later hour. lust on an ice or a piece of delicious cheese cake dessert? here you are in the wrong place, we get the answer that the kitchen is already closed at 21.15? with which we simply simply bring a ball of ice we are rejected again, with the foundation, the ice is always made fresh with the machine. what a turbo eismaker is there in the kitchen? well, then I finally decide for a glass wein, but not once there, where we are in the heart with well known very good wein, I will advise hospitable for a good drop. we will then probably look for a new local look for our women's evening (you will notice everything from the village) which often takes place for a slumber drink. Sorry, really bad.

Were 3 times in this magnificent house to guest....Essen is a tight service very attentive....will definitely come back to enjoy.
