Ideal - Malartic

Since I cannot speak French, I was a bit unsure about the service I would receive. However, my concerns were completely unfounded. Despite my limited French, I was treated with courtesy and friendly service. The food was good, and I particularly enjoyed the "red" with my breakfast - it was a delicious French-Canadian treat. While the menu may not be very imaginative, it is a great place to stop for a meal during a road trip, especially since the mine tour is just a simple 5-minute walk away.

During a visit to the family in the area, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, as it was homemade. However, the location could use some updates and cleaning.

The restaurant has a cozy ambiance, excellent service, and affordable prices. The food is like home-cooked meals, delicious and made with fresh ingredients. It is easy to find and I visited twice during my stay. I will definitely be returning.

We stopped here for dinner while visiting family in the area. The food was homemade and good and a good value for the price. However the place does need to be updated and cleaned up somewhat.

Comfortable atmosphere, great service and price point. home cooking, the good type, fresh, home made. quick. easily accessible. visited twice in my only days there. I will go again.
