We went here for dinner on our trip to Boston. Loved the ambience and food though we had to wait a bit. There was good variety for vegetarians too. The Truffle mushrooms Miso Ramen we ordered was spicy and perfect for a cold winter night. The service was great too.
Amazing and authentic ramen bar, greet food awesome staff. The price is not cheap but we keep coming back.
I love this place. When you walk in, it has a bit of a Japanese street market feel. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable on gluten-free menu items. The ramen here is good and one of the only ramen houses offering gluten free noodles. The flavor is solid, but it lacks the depth of flavor that some other locales have. I have been twice and for a Celiac like me, it helps me experience my favorite food and one that I haven't had anywhere else since my diagnosis.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly marked. No separate fryer for gluten free items, so they are not Celiac-safe
I came here with a friend for dinner. My review is based off that experience. In terms of food, the best food Zuru Zuru does best is the meat. The beef and pork meats are some of the best marinades I’ve tasted. I’ve tried their wagyu ramen and the slices of wagyu are incredible. Even though this is a ramen establishment, I would recommend the beef rice bowl (gyudon) and pork rice bowl (chasu-don). They give a great portion of meat which compliments the rice. The ramen itself is ok. The texture and ramen type aren’t anything special. The broth is also not anything to write home about. It tends to be lightly flavored/seasoned which for some might be a plus, but I tend to like strong flavorsI really like the atmosphere. Their decorations are very colorful and the wall and bathrooms have a ton of murals which complement the ambiance. While on the smaller end for a restaurant, it has a cozy feel. The service was professional and efficient. They don’t do reservation but I typically don’t wait too long when it’s busy, usually at most 20 minutes. The restaurant typically has an open seat but for larger parties, it might take longer.Overall, if you’re looking for a place with great marinated meats, this is the place for you!Parking: Only street parking but it’s free after 7pm on weekdays. There is a garage nearby as well as a T stop called Malden Center which is on the orange line
