Pauls Plaice - Maldon

I frequently dine at Paul's Place. The meals are truly excellent and very large. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly.

I just ordered from Paul's Plaice on Uber Eats and the delivery was quick. The cod pieces are absolutely delicious, they are like bites of heaven. The fish is beautifully cooked. The chips and gherkins are also great. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Totally hard anemic chips, portion ridiculously large for a person. batter on the fish uncooked inside and revolt! the go on in the food recycling back!

Best fish and chips available in the Maldon area! Always tastes delicious, not too long of a wait time and the staff are second to none

We have been coming here the last month every weekend and i really can’t pass a single negative comment, The chip portions are huge and non greasy( I can’t eat from chip shops as I’m always unwell the following day, not sure why but thinking...maybe its the fat the chips are cooked in). I’ve had 5 different meals from here and loved each one . We drive 6 miles away to this chip shop as the two in our village make me feel so unwell. Pies are lovely , onion rings crispy and chips are perfect not greasy and actually made from potatoes .....the staff have it all worked out in there so it runs smoothly especially during this pandemic. so glad we found this place, of to have some lovely fish and chips from there now .
