We had the octopus with mashed potatoes, shellfish melody, and tomato bread. The octopus and mashed potatoes were good, the octopus specifically was excellent. The mashed potatoes had a good flavor, but was a little too salty. The shellfish melody also had great flavor, but also a little on the salty side. The tomatoe bread was quite good. The staff were great and quite patient with us as we speak English. Overall, a good place to eat, one where I see myself returning in the future.

Tonight vine tasting instead dinner. Was good choice. This place has nice atmosphere, but vine from the local vineyards is absolute fantastic. Great selection of Rioja’s. Also snacks like ham and cheese selection makes world more beautiful.

We arrived early and managed to get a table without booking. We saw lots of people after us turned away as it was full. The food was really, really good. You are paying for quality here rather than quantity, that is reflected in the price . The wine menu was also extensive and the prices so much cheaper than the UK. What lets the place down is service. I don’t know if they were short staffed but they didn’t have enough waiting staff for the number of tables. I spent around 15-20 minutes trying to catch anyone’s eye to get our bill. And we resorted to physically waving our card and the bill in the air for 5 minutes to pay it as we’d failed again in catching anyone’s eye. A real shame as it ended our visit on a really bad vibe.
