Sparrow - Malibu

The ambiance is very relaxing and beautiful, and the menu has greatly improved; the food is really good now. I particularly enjoy their smoothies. I'm fairly certain that the cafe is open to the public, even though it's part of a private club.

This is the ideal place for a brunch outing with friends. We recently held our 10-year college reunion here, and we had an amazing time!

This is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a peaceful brunch or lunch, whether for business or personal reasons, during the week. It has the feel of a place you might find at a resort hotel, but without the hotel itself. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it attracts almost no tourists, making it a relaxing venue to enjoy our lovely weather. The staff is very polite, and although the atmosphere isn't flashy, the stunning mountain views, abundant greenery, and a bright, inviting indoor space with a wonderful fireplace for inclement weather are truly delightful. I used to be a huge fan of their curry mango chicken salad and wish they would bring it back! They offer a good selection of sandwiches, light salads, and eggs. While the menu is relatively small, there are plenty of healthy choices as well as more traditional, hearty brunch options.

My recent visit to Sparrow Cafe in Malibu was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of this Malibu, Sparrow Cafe offers not just great food but also a charming ambiance that's perfect for a relaxed afternoon. To kick things off, we ordered the chips and guacamole, which turned out to be the perfect appetizer. The chips were freshly made, warm, and perfectly crispy, and the guacamole was incredibly fresh and flavorful. For our second appetizer, we opted for the flatbread topped with prosciutto and arugula. This dish was a true standout. The flatbread was thin and crispy, providing an excellent base for the toppings.

This cafe has a new Italian chef. And he is incredible, the food is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!! It's by far the best restaurant in Malibu. It's kind of a secret. I have mixed feelings about letting it out, but the chef deserves for people to know.
