The staff were very kind in accommodating our needs from moving inside the restaurant out to the terrace. Nothing was too much trouble. What a special place. It’s definitely worth the trip out there.
We had visited the Museum in the morning, and had to press on towards Santander, so hoped for lunch, but they did not serve until 1330. We made do with coffee and a snack of toast, cheese and pulped fresh tomato. Good quality and the restaurant looked quite upmarket, though a little pricey.
In a great setting the tables at the side of the cafeteria overlook a magnificent artwork and get a gentle breeze that cools the midday heat. Service is good . 2 beers 2 waters for 5euros . Wild cats with no ears wander around and you can see lesser kestrels and kites flying over. It's an idyllic place set in the old wool washing house. There's a sculpture by Yoko Ono at the side. Can't enter the art museum from the cafeteria have to go back round the front. Decent toilets but see through door !
It was a great success to book and eat in this charming place... bravo to the chef and the service Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Undoubtedly as far as restoration is concerned, it is the best in Malpartida de Cáceres. I've been several times and it never disappoints. It has a very good kitchen and the treatment is very good and personalized. I will mention Ana who has served us with care. We have celebrated the golden wedding of my parents and I am clear that it has been a success to celebrate them there.
